Bray Air Show and Fireworks Display on this Bank Holiday Weekend

Get ready for an unforgettable experience as the Bray Air Show takes off on Saturday, August 2nd, followed by a spectacular fireworks display on Monday, August 4th!


Bray Air Display


This year’s air show will be featuring the skills of world-class pilots who will fill the skies over Bray with aerobatics and formations! From the vintage charm of the Mustang ‘Miss Helen’ to the precision formation flying of Team Raven, prepare to watch skilled aviators defy gravity.


But the excitement doesn’t stop in the sky – there’s a world of fun waiting on the ground! Dive into the high-energy buzz of the Seafront Funfair, discover the new cutting-edge “Future of Flight” Tech Zone where drones are making a difference, and marvel at the impressive static display by the Irish Defence Forces.


Get up close with an impressive collection of model aircraft, showcased by the Model Aeronautics Council of Ireland. And when it’s time to refuel, the Food and Craft Village is bursting with mouthwatering treats and artisan treasures. For a truly unforgettable experience, take a helicopter ride over Bray Head. The action kicks off from noon, with the Bray Air Display taking to the skies at 3 pm sharp.

In addition, the Irish Defence Forces Naval Service will be present, with one of their LE Fleet vessels anchored offshore!

All guests are advised to arrive before 2 pm, and attendees driving to the event must pre-book their parking space online at the official event car parks before attending the airshow.

The Bray Fireworks Display


Get ready for a night sky full of fireworks on Bank Holiday Monday, August 4th! Crafted by Rocket Pyrotechnics Ireland, this dazzling show features around 193 fireworks, launching 1728 spectacular projectiles, 9 flame units, and 2.5 tonnes of thrilling effects right from the seafront opposite the Bandstand.
