Kaleidoscope Festival 2025!

Ireland’s family festival season just got brighter as Kaleidoscope presented by Glenveagh celebrates its 5th birthday with a jam-packed weekend at the Russborough House in Blessington, Co. Wicklow.


Taking place from 4th to 6th July 2025, this beloved family-friendly is packed to the brim with hands-on activities, must-see shows and top class family entertainment that goes far beyond the music.


Across ten dedicated family areas and stages, little ones (and big ones too!) can dive into everything from live science shows with Mark The Science Guy, circus thrills from Wobbly Circus and Fierce Fire Show, to creative writing workshops with Roddy Doyle’s Fighting Words.


Budding foodies will love Scrumdiddlyumptious – The Festival of Food, while artists-in-the-making can get inspired with illustration workshops led by Steve Simpson.


With baby and toddler playtime from Baby Sensory, ClapHandies and Move with Carla, plus nature adventures at Johnny Magory World, silent teen discos, gymnastics, crafts and more – it’s all included in your ticket and all designed to make memories that last a lifetime.

  • Saturday brings beloved Scottish band Texas

  • TikTok favourite Jacob Robinson (book signing included)

Tasty Treats at the Food Festival

The Scrumdiddlyumptious Festival of Food returns to Kaleidoscope Festival once again, with an incredible programme of foodie experts and champions from across the island, bringing their tricks of the trade to teach all the future chefs about pizza, seafood, sweet treats, and much, much more.



Plus, for the big kids at Kaleidoscope, Scrumdiddlyumptious will have an adult grape juice tastings (!) to help the weekend fly by. A joyful mix of food workshops, music, wine, and most importantly, porridge. Where else would you want to be?


This year Scrumdiddlyumptious welcomes renowned chef JP McMahon for the first time, and Jp is bringing his West Coast Seafood Masterclass eastwards to Wicklow. 


9beanrow authors Jolene and Lils Cox, and Michelle Darmody will teach the kids the basics of growing and cooking your food by yourself. Superstar baker Caryna Camerino of the brilliant Camerino Bakery, host of Ireland AM cookery, and owner a new shop in Blackrock, County Dublin returns for the second year to bring some fun to the Scrumdiddly’ tent.


And, of course, The Cupcake Bloke himself, Graham Herterich, will be there and will brings his incredible cupcake decorating workshop to brighten up the festival. 


Samantha Forrest of Fussy Foods will bring the out the most curious in the fussiest of foods, and Tango Streetfood, the pizza masters of Killarney, will showcase a pizza masterclass that is not to be missed. 


Polish Wine Fest, Ireland’s first Polish wine importers, will host a wine tasting of Polish Wines for the big kids at the festival.


All this, plus the ever present Porridge Party, the legendary Disco Picnic, and Kids First Art Class! Scrumdiddlyumptious Festival of Food 2025 is not one to be missed!
