Tumble Down the Rabbit Hole - The Mad Hatter's Tea Party at Malahide Castle

Prepare your hats and pocket watches, this Easter the 19th of April, Malahide Castle will transform into a Wonderland, hosting the most eccentric tea party imaginable for an event that's sure to suit all ages!

Expect theatrical performances and eccentric characters who will compete for audience adoration and a special Easter prize on Easter Saturday. A family-friendly event in every sense of the word! 

What's Brewing at the Tea Party?

• A Mad Hatter’s Welcome: Step into the world of Wonderland and be greeted by the Mad Hatter himself, along with a host of other curious characters. Their playful personalities set the tone for a day filled with laughter and surprise.

• Feasting: Indulge in a picnic-style feast featuring "Eat Me" and "Drink Me" treats, reminiscent of Alice's own adventures. These treats are designed to add a touch of magic to your meal. 

• Sing-Along: Join Alice and the Mad Hatter in a sing-along session and belt out your favourite tunes!

• Scavenger Hunt: Head on a self-guided scavenger hunt through the castle's fairy gardens. This adventure invites you to explore hidden nooks and crannies, uncovering secrets and surprises along the way.

  • 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

  • 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

• Location: Malahide Castle & Gardens, West Lawn.

Ticket Information:

• Price: €30 per person, €25 per kid up to age 12, with babies under the age of 12 months going FREE!

• Booking: Tickets can be purchased through the official Malahide Castle website.

• Tickets include a picnic box, a seat at the Mad Hatters Table and an Interactive Character Tea Party in the beautiful setting of the West Lawn Garden.
