Yoga Picnic Returns on July 5th in Westmeath

The Yoga Picnic returns on July 5th, 2025, at Lilliput House on the shores of Lough Ennell, Co. Westmeath. The festival brings together leading international yoga teachers, wellness practitioners, and speakers for a day of movement, discussions, music, and nature.
The 2025 festival welcomes a new line-up of internationally respected teachers, including Hannah Barrett (UK), known for her Power Yoga, Lara Heimann. (US), who focuses on alignment, functional movement and spiritual wellness. Meanwhile, Manasi Sridhar (India) hailing from the home of yoga brings authentic yoga to life with her memorable and unique style. Adam and Holly Husler (a UK based husband and wife duo) will showcase Adamās expertise in vinyasa yoga, dynamic movement, while his wife, Holly Husler (UK), will lead sound healing and meditation. Michael James Wong (hailing from the US originally) will explore the power of the breath, and Celeste Pereira (South Africa) will focus on playfulness in a yoga practice. The festival will also showcase some of Irelandās most inspiring voices in yoga and wellbeing, including yoga teachers Mari Kennedy and Lou Horgan, with spoken word headliner Laura Murphy and meditation teacher SinĆ©ad Mooney leading empowering sessions throughout the day.
This yearās festival will be the most comprehensive yet, with more dedicated areas and a rich variety of offerings. Attendees can enjoy a diverse schedule of yoga and movement practices including Vinyasa, Power, Restorative, and AcroYoga, alongside live music, mantra chanting, sound healing, drumming, and immersive sound baths. Back by popular demand is the high-energy Shakti Dance session, led by festival host Alice Harrison ā a true highlight of the day. Attendees can also take part in outdoor experiences such as SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board) yoga, cold water therapy, and sauna sessions. Conscious living talks and workshops will focus on nutrition, plant-based cooking, and sustainable living.
Sustainability is at the heart of the festival which is powered by Kia Electric Vehicles. For the second year in a row, The Yoga Picnic partners with Kia Ireland to power the festivalās tents using Kiaās electric vehicles. As the first festival in Ireland to introduce this initiative, it reflects a commitment to reducing emissions and promoting sustainability.

The Yoga Picnic was created by Mary Gardiner, Katy Harrison, and Alice Harrison, three friends, business owners, yoga teachers and two sisters. Their shared goal was to create an event that brings people together in nature to focus on movement, connection, and wellbeing. The festival highlights the importance of female-led businesses in the wellness industry. "This festival has grown each year into something special. Our aim is to create a welcoming space where people can reconnectāwith themselves, each other, and the world around them," says Katy Harrison, Co-Owner of The Yoga Picnic.
